Citrus COVID Testing Site Remains Open Despite Holiday

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla.- To ensure COVID-19 testing continues to be available to the community, the testing site at the Citrus Springs Community Center will remain open on Friday, Nov. 27, despite the Florida Department of Health in Citrus County’s (DOH-Citrus) Thanksgiving closures on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27. DOH-Citrus will reopen at its regularly scheduled times on Monday, Nov. 30.

As a reminder, COVID-19 testing is offered to the first 150 individuals from 7:30 to 10 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Citrus Springs Community Center, 1570 W. Citrus Springs Blvd. Testing is provided at no cost to adults and children over 12, with or without symptoms. No appointment needed. Please bring a photo ID and plan to stay in your vehicle the entire time.
