CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – Citrus County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, October 8th, and Wednesday, October 9th, in anticipation of Hurricane Milton. All after-school activities and extracurriculars are also canceled for those days.
Schools will remain open tomorrow, Monday, October 7th, with all after-school activities, YMCA programs, and sports proceeding as scheduled.

The district is closely monitoring the storm and will provide updates as needed. Families and staff are encouraged to stay informed about the storm’s progress through local news reports.
