HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Three suspects have been arrested after Hillsborough County deputies find nine stolen vehicles, including three semi-trailers.
According to deputies, on February 17, investigators discovered 9 stolen vehicles in Thonotosassa, leading to the arrest of 3 suspects.
Marcos A Cubillas Gomez and Yoel Carbollo Acosta were charged with operating a chop shop, and Gomez faces nine counts of grand theft.

The third suspect, Gueiby Pequero, was arrested on unrelated charges.
The recovery included three semi-trailers, a semi-truck, engine parts, utility trailers, an SUV, and a car.
“Criminals know no boundaries when it comes to scamming and taking advantage of hard-working citizens. These suspects will now go from a chop shop to a courtroom to answer for their crimes,” said Sheriff Chronister.
