11-Year-Old Boy Shot And Killed In St. Petersburg By His 14-Year-Old Brother With Stolen Gun

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A child was shot and killed on Friday, and police are on the scene investigating.

According to police, officers responded at 12:15 p.m. to a house at 1421 43rd St. S. for a gunshot wound to a boy.

Police say 11-year-old Amir Williams died at the scene from his injuries.

Investigators say there was no school today, and Amir was home with his 14-year-old brother and 13-year-old sister.

The 14-year-old brother admitted he was playing with the gun and accidentally shot his 11-year-old brother.

The gun was reported stolen on April 24th in St. Petersburg. Detectives are still trying to determine how the 14-year-old had possession of it.
