CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing elderly man, Manuel “Emmanuel” Cruz, who was last seen on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Mr. Cruz, 78, was last seen in the 6400 block of Scott Street in Punta Gorda at approximately 6:30 PM.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white lettering, black pants, and a blue or black knit cap. Manuel is described as being between 5’11” and 6’00” tall with a thin build and a crew cut hairstyle. Authorities note that he walks slowly and appears to have a limp.
