TAMPA, Fla. – Join city leaders and historians on Monday, July 15, 2024, as we celebrate Tampa’s 137th birthday! This special event at Old City Hall kicks off a week of activities highlighting the city’s rich history.

In honor of Archives Awareness Week, City Council Member Charlie Miranda and Fred Hearns, curator of Black History for the Tampa Bay History Center, will share insights into Tampa’s early government and life a century ago.
