The event will feature a community clean-up event, a sustainable showcase, and an awards dinner, all with a focus on promoting environmental conservation and social responsibility.

April 21st, 2023, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Ashley Creek Clean-up Event
The day will begin with a community clean-up event at Ashley Creek located just north of NW 19th Lane. This event is FREE to attend! All the necessary supplies, including gloves, bags, and tools to safely pick up litter and other debris in the designated areas have been generously provided by Keep Alachua County Beautiful. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the impact of waste on the environment and the ways to make a difference. Afterward, attendees will meet at Swampboil, host of the clean-up after-party.
April 22nd, 2023, 4 pm – 7 pm: Sustainable Showcase
CinemaVerde is partnering with #UNLITTER UF to present a Sustainable Showcase and 2023 CinemaVerde festival films at Cypress & Grove. A wide range of organizations and vendors will be showcased, all with a shared commitment to protecting the environment and promoting social responsibility. Afterward, wind down at Cypress & Grove for a screening of the 2023 CinemaVerde festival films which will run until 10 pm. Bring friends and family for a great night of fun. This event is FREE to attend.
On April 23rd, 2023, 4 pm – 8 pm: Cinema Verde Awards Dinner at Passions Field
Spend an unforgettable evening hosted by Passions Field celebrating the talented filmmakers who showcased their inspiring work during CinemaVerde’s February film festival. This year’s dinner will take place at a beautiful flower farm, providing the perfect setting for an elegant and sustainable dining experience prepared by renowned chef Mark Newman of the iconic Leonardo’s 706 restaurant!
