Disturbing footage released by the Philadelphia Police Department shows a woman firing gunshots at a family of three, striking a 7-month-old baby boy in the leg.
The incident occurred in the Holmesburg neighborhood on Thursday evening, July 18th.
The video depicts the father, mother, and infant standing on a sidewalk when a woman approaches and shouts, “F— your baby, b—-!” before firing three shots. The suspect then flees the scene on foot.

The infant was rushed to the hospital by a neighbor and is currently in stable condition. Police are actively searching for the suspect, described as a “heavy-set black female with long dreadlocks” wearing a black sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and black shoes.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and it is unknown whether the suspect and the victims were acquainted. The parents of the child were not injured in the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident to come forward. .
