POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple vehicle burglaries that occurred on Westridge Road and Sandalwood Drive last week. Three unidentified male suspects were captured on video attempting to open car doors and stealing items from unlocked vehicles.

The suspects were described as white males, approximately 18-20 years old. They were seen wearing hoodies and masks to conceal their identities.

The suspects were able to gain access to several vehicles by simply flipping door handles to find unlocked cars. Once inside, they rifled through the vehicles, looking for valuables to steal.

The suspects were eventually seen leaving the area on foot.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects. Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has any information about the crime is urged to contact Detective Pennell at 863-236-3900 or APennell@polksheriff.org.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Heartland Crime Stoppers by calling 1-888-400-TIPS (8477), dialing **TIPS from a cell phone.

A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
