POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A tip led to the arrest of a woman in Polk County who was wanted on a felony warrant for sexual assault of a child in Michigan.
On Saturday, November 2nd, deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received information about the whereabouts of 35-year-old Ashley Marie Grider. Grider was wanted in Wayne County, Michigan, on a charge of sexual assault on a victim under 13 years old.

Deputies located Grider at a residence on Steven Drive in Polk City and took her into custody. She is currently being held in the Polk County Jail pending extradition to Michigan.
