The biggest story of the 2023 NFL season almost had nothing to do with a player or a coach.
Instead, it involved the media fixation on pop star Taylor Swift emerging as a Kansas City Chiefs fan because of her romance with tight end Travis Kelce and then cheering the team all the way to a Super Bowl victory.
That fueled the suggestion on the right that Swift’s presence in the NFL landscape was part of some pro-Biden psychological operation to win over voters.

But, thanks to an unhinged left-wing California college professor, we were recently treated to what many liberals likely believe about Swift, Kelce, the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win, and the NFL.
It’s all racist.
In fact, according to the New York Post on Sunday, Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State University Los Angeles, as well as co-founder of the Black Lives Matter chapter in LA and a supposed Hip Hop scholar,” the Chiefs victory was not pro-Biden but actually a right-wing conspiracy.
“Why do I feel like this was some right-wing, white-supremacist conspiracy?!?!” she posted on X after the big game ended. “Booooooo!!!! #SuperBowl.”
Although Abdullah’s posts coincided with the Super Bowl two weeks ago, the Post noted that they just went viral.

The Post reported that Abdullah also claimed it was possibly racist to be a Swift fan.
“Why do I feel like it’s slightly racist to be a Taylor Swift fan?” she posted. In response to another user’s question about her post, Abdullah added, “I said FEEL, not think. Kind of like that feeling I get when there are too many American flags.”
When another X user chimed in with “Literally everything is racist,” Abdullah replied, “Indeed!”
In still another post, Abdullah added, “Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended. Virtually everything is racist.”
Of course, it is when you are a co-founder of BLM.
The Post also noticed that Abdullah had dropped the race card previously.

In 2022, for example, she claimed whites were not allowed to attend Juneteenth celebrations. Instead, she said, that was “#Reparations day for white folks.”
In 2021, just before Jussie Smollett was convicted of faking a hate crime, Abdullah called police work “an irredeemable institution. She also once referred to cops as “slave catchers.”
