Jimmy Sanchez, 36, of San Diego, California, and Tsvia Kol, 36, of Miami, Florida, were indicted on federal charges related to the murder of a victim at the Aladdin Hotel in Miami.
The indictment charges both individuals with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, discharge of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and causing a death in the course of the drug trafficking conspiracy.
According to the indictment, Kol lured the victim to the hotel on November 29, 2022, demanding to know the whereabouts of a missing methamphetamine package she believed the victim had stolen.

Kol then arranged for Sanchez to fly from San Diego to Miami to assist her in locating the missing package and ultimately carrying out the murder.
Law enforcement discovered the victim in the hotel room with two gunshot wounds to the face and head.
If convicted, both Sanchez and Kol face a mandatory sentence of life in prison, up to a life of supervised release, and up to $10 million in fines.
