TAMPA, Fla. – QB Tom Brady released a simple, quick, emotional video while on a beach, announcing he was retiring — as he said — “for good.”
Brady said that he had used up his long speech about retirement last year — when he eventually unretired just weeks later — so he thanked family, friends, teammates and so on, and he was on the verge of tears when he said, “I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”
Despite the team being plagued with injuries, particularly along the offensive line, and the offensive coaching struggles, Brady still managed to put up 4.694 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
