TAMPA, Fla. – Mike Evans has etched his name into the NFL record books, tying legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice for the most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
With an eight-yard reception in the fourth quarter of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week 18 game against the New Orleans Saints, Evans surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the 11th straight season, matching Rice’s remarkable feat.

Evans, now in his 11th NFL season, has reached the 1,000-yard milestone every year of his career. This achievement surpasses Randy Moss for the second-most 1,000-yard seasons in NFL history, trailing only Rice.
Evans’ path to this milestone was not without its challenges. A hamstring injury caused him to miss three games and most of a fourth this season. However, he returned with a vengeance, averaging 96.7 yards per game over the final six weeks of the season to reach the 1,000-yard mark.
