HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A Brooksville woman has died in a crash that happened around 7:45 am on Monday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Nissan Altima, driven by a 54-year-old Brooksville woman, was traveling westbound on Wiscon Road.
West of Mobley Road, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which departed the roadway, entered the north shoulder, and struck a tree.

The unrestrained driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
