HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A devastating accident at the intersection of Daly Road and Lake Lindsey Road in Hernando County resulted in the deaths of both drivers involved.
On Sunday at 11:48 am, a Honda Accord driven by a 22-year-old woman from Brooksville was traveling southbound on Daly Road. At the same time, a 70-year-old man from Homosassa was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Lake Lindsey Road.

Troopers say the Honda Accord entered the intersection and was struck by the motorcycle. Both drivers sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
