HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Lenora Carpenter of Brooksville is celebrating a substantial win after claiming a $900,000 jackpot from the Florida Lottery’s JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY™ drawing held on December 20, 2024. Carpenter opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $534,009.60, received at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at the Publix located at 19390 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

For just $1, players get three chances to win with each JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY™ ticket. The game involves selecting six numbers from 1 to 46 for the first set, with the second set generated as a Quick Pick. Jackpots start at $250,000 and can reach $2 million. Matching three or more numbers from the same set wins a prize. An optional “Combo” feature for an additional $1 allows players to combine matches across all three sets for extra winning opportunities.
