HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 58-year-old Brooksville man has died after a crash that happened around 8:43 pm on Friday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a box truck was traveling westbound in the left turn lane of Cortez Boulevard at the intersection of Medical Center.
Troopers say the box truck completed a U-Turn into the path of a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Cortez.

Troopers say the motorcycle crashed into the side of the box truck.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old Brooksville man was transported to an area hospital and later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
