BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – A 29-year-old Brooksville man has been arrested and charged with 93 counts of child pornography.
Hernando County Sheriff’s detectives received information on August 31, 2023, about possible possession of child pornography and immediately launched an investigation.
Detectives identified 29-year-old Ryan Hohman of Brooksville as the possible suspect in the case and established probable cause for a search warrant on Hohman’s home.

Investigators say that Hohman was taken into custody during a traffic stop after being spotted by deputies, knowing the man had a suspended driver’s license.
Detectives transported Hohman to the Sheriff’s Office, where an interview was conducted.
During the interview, Hohman admitted to owning the social media account in question and to downloading images containing Child Sexual Assault Material.
Hohman’s social media account contained over 200 images of Child Sexual Assault Material.
Ryan Alexander Hohman was placed under arrest and charged as follows:
- Possession of Child Pornography (93 counts)
- Driving While License Suspended or Revoked
- Bond – $931,000.
