BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has arrested a Brooksville man on charges of possessing child pornography.
According to the HCSO, detectives received information on November 8, 2024, concerning the possession of child pornography. A subsequent investigation identified 42-year-old Isai Rodriguez Sr. as a suspect.
On March 25, 2025, investigators established probable cause to obtain a court-authorized search warrant for Rodriguez’s residence, located on Mae Hight Road in Brooksville.

Detectives from the HCSO Special Victim’s Unit executed the search warrant on Friday and made contact with Rodriguez at his residence. During the interaction, Rodriguez allegedly stated that he was the owner of the account that contained child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
As a result of the evidence, Rodriguez was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
The suspect was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Child Pornography (1 count)
- Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device
- He is being held without bond.

“Sheriff Al Nienhuis has a zero tolerance for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Any and all tips are, and will be, meticulously investigated, no stone will be left unturned. Any person who possesses material of this nature will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” said the HCSO.
The investigation is ongoing.
