Breeze Airways Adds Nonstop Service From Tampa To Memphis

TAMPA, Fla. – Breeze Airways, the “Seriously Nice” low-cost carrier, is expanding its service from Tampa International Airport (TPA) with new nonstop flights to Memphis, Tennessee, starting May 7th. One-way fares for the new route will start at just $45*.

“Breeze Airways continues to grow its reach at TPA and we couldn’t be more thrilled to support its success,” said TPA CEO Joe Lopano. “With the addition of Breeze’s new nonstop service to Memphis, Tampa Bay travelers now have more options for visiting the Home of the Blues.”

This announcement comes after a successful quarter for Breeze, with the airline reporting its first operating profit in the fourth quarter of 2024. Breeze attributes its profitability to strong demand for its unique business model, which focuses on providing nonstop service between underserved secondary airports using a fleet of new, fuel-efficient Airbus A220 aircraft.

“We’re excited to offer our premium low-cost service now to Memphis from Tampa Bay,” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO. “We started service from Tampa on day one and now offer more than 30 destinations from Tampa International.”

Breeze has received industry recognition for its passenger experience and innovative approach. It was recently named Startup Airline of the Year by the Centre for Aviation (CAPA) and received a Four-Star Low-Cost Carrier rating from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). Travel + Leisure also ranked Breeze in the top five of its “Best Domestic Airlines” list for the third consecutive year.

The airline offers bundled and a la carte options, allowing passengers to customize their travel experience. Its fare bundles include flexibility and options for add-ons like baggage, seat selection, and inflight WiFi.
