Bradenton Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Sex Abuse Material

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – Christopher David Clark, a 52-year-old resident of Bradenton, was arrested on September 12, 2024, and charged with possession of child sex abuse material. If convicted, he could face a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison.

A search warrant executed at Clark’s home led to the discovery of over 40 electronic devices. A preliminary examination of one of the external hard drives revealed multiple images of child sexual abuse.

The case is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with support from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the Bradenton Police Department, and the Sarasota Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Ross Roberts will prosecute the case.

This arrest is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse.
