TAMPA, Fla. – Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast and Tampa Bay, in collaboration with Coca-Cola Beverages Florida (Coke Florida), are providing young women with hands-on career exploration in the sports industry. This initiative builds upon a long-standing partnership between the organizations.

A key component of this collaboration is an exclusive panel-style event designed to offer an inspiring look into professional pathways within the sports field, empowering the next generation of female leaders.

The “Future Leaders Academy – Career Panel & Bottling Facility Tour” will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC, located at 9102 Sabal Industrial Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619.

The event will feature a panel discussion with sports industry professionals, including Becky Bonner, a Boys & Girls Club alum and Director of Player Development & Basketball Operations for the Orlando Magic. The panel will explore career opportunities in Sports Marketing, with a focus on highlighting the importance of female representation in leadership positions.

With the sports events happening right in our backyard, this experience is truly special. We’re confident it will ignite inspiration, broaden horizons, and showcase the limitless possibilities available to our girls.”

This initiative is a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Coca-Cola Company, and Coke Florida, the local Coca-Cola bottler.
