A U.S. Border Patrol agent has been charged with four counts of deprivation after having several women expose their breasts to him while virtually processing their admission to the United States.

The Department of Justice alleges that Shane Millan, 53, while working as a Border Patrol Agent, abused his position to conduct inappropriate virtual searches of four women seeking admission to the United States.

Prosecutors say that Millan exploited his position during virtual processing to demand that three women expose their bare chests and a fourth woman reveal her breasts while wearing a bra.

They claim these actions were for his personal gratification and that he falsely portrayed them as legitimate searches.

Following his arraignment on Thursday in Syracuse, Millan was released pending trial.
