In a candid interview on Fox News, White House Border Czar Tom Homan praised the Trump administration’s rapid progress in securing the southern border and issued a stern warning to Mexican drug cartels planning attacks on U.S. Border Patrol agents.

Homan, a former Acting ICE Director, highlighted the administration’s aggressive tactics, including the deployment of military forces and the designation of cartels as terrorist organizations, as game-changers in the fight against illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

Homan’s comments came in response to a New York Post report revealing that Mexican drug cartels are planning kamikaze drone attacks and other explosive tactics to combat increased U.S. border enforcement.

“President Trump is serious, and I give him 100% on the terrorist designation [of cartels],” Homan said. “These cartels have killed more people than every terrorist organization in the world combined. They’ve killed journalists, politicians, judges, and prosecutors. This designation gives us the firepower to attack their infrastructure, operations, and money.”

The terrorist designation, Homan explained, allows the U.S. government to target cartels’ financial networks, crippling their ability to bribe officials and law enforcement. “If you take their money away, they can’t bribe officials, they can’t bribe law enforcement,” he said. “This is a game-changer.”

Homan also addressed the recent agreement with Mexico, which includes the deployment of 10,000 Mexican military troops to the border to assist in curbing illegal immigration and drug trafficking. “The call with Mexico went very well,” Homan said. “They’re putting their best military soldiers on the border. That’s a lot of soldiers, and they want to protect it.”

However, Homan expressed skepticism about the effectiveness of Mexican forces, citing widespread corruption within their ranks. “For decades, I’ve said that many in the Mexican military and law enforcement are corrupt,” he said. “Either you do what the cartels tell you to do, or they’ll kill you and your family. We’ll see how effective they are this time.”

Homan warned cartels against targeting U.S. Border Patrol agents or military personnel, emphasizing that any attack would be met with overwhelming force. “It would be a bad move on their part to harm any Border Patrol agent or soldier,” he said. “President Trump will reply with great force, and he has the capability of wiping these cartels off the face of the Earth if they harm our soldiers or agents.”

The Border Czar also praised the Trump administration’s partnership with El Salvador, which has offered to house dangerous U.S. citizens and criminal migrants in its prisons. “El Salvador has a great president,” Homan said. “He’s willing to take criminal aliens that we arrest here. It’s a great partnership.”

Homan concluded by lauding President Trump’s relentless efforts to secure the border, calling him “the greatest president of my lifetime.” “President Trump is moving at lightning speed,” he said. “Every day, he makes moves that prove he’s serious about protecting this country. We’re seeing less sex trafficking, fewer women and children being exploited, and fewer suspected terrorists crossing the border. It’s a game-changer.”
