HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has released body camera footage from the November 16th deputy-involved shooting that resulted in the death of a suspect.
The footage, captured from the perspectives of Deputy Jared Mincemeyer and an undercover deputy, shows the moments leading up to the fatal encounter during a traffic stop on West Hillsborough Avenue.

To protect the privacy of the deceased, the suspect’s face is blurred in the video as next of kin have not yet been notified. The Public Affairs Office will release the suspect’s identity once notification is complete.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is leading the investigation into the shooting. Any further updates on the case will come from FDLE.
