PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – On November 26, 2020, at approximately 9:00 p.m., divers from the International Underwater Cave Rescue and Recovery (IUCRR) arrived on-scene to assist with the recovery of 30-year-old Trevor Harris from the natural spring, known as the “Blue Sink.”
IUCRR is a volunteer, non-for-profit organization that aids in the rescue and/or recovery of victims in an underwater-overhead environment. IUCRR divers are certified by a recognized cave diving organization to dive in these environments.
Deputies say the divers entered the water at 11:00 p.m. and recovered Harris’ body at about 11:32 p.m. on Thursday, at approximately 122 feet deep.
The investigation continues.
