CLEARWATER, Fla. – The man whose body was discovered floating in Old Tampa Bay earlier this morning has been identified as Tony Alfonzo-Royce Walker, 38, of Clearwater.
Clearwater Police detectives are continuing their death investigation after Walker’s body was found near the mangroves at Cortland Bayside, located at 19369 U.S. 19 N. The body was discovered floating in the water of Old Tampa Bay.

The Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an examination to determine the cause of death. Clearwater Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Walker’s death.
