HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 35-foot cabin cruiser was ablaze near Pine Key Island on Saturday afternoon around 12:39 pm. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded promptly to 911 calls reporting the fire.
FireBoat 29 and Battalion Chief 4 arrived on the scene and swiftly worked to extinguish the flames. The U.S. Coast Guard also responded to assist. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and HCFR will continue to monitor the situation.
