DOVER, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a large vehicle fire in Dover late Tuesday night. HCFR’s Emergency Dispatch Center received a 911 call at 11:50 pm.
HCFR’s Engine 36 was the first unit on the scene and reported a working fire involving an RV.
Crews pulled an attack line and had the blaze under control within 5 minutes.

Water was supplied by HCFR’s Tanker 23. There were no injuries to civilians or fire personnel.
HCFR’s Fire Investigator determined that a blowtorch that was being used to cut the RV ignited fumes and caused the fire.
