LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two black swans and four of their eggs from a Lakeland mobile home park.
The incident occurred Wednesday evening, February 12th, between 9:04 p.m. and 9:43 p.m. at the Highland Village Mobile Home Park located at 375 Brannen Road.

Security footage captured two suspects at the scene during the time of the theft.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects and recovering the stolen swans and eggs. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Agriculture Crimes Unit at 863-534-7205.
