Congressional Republicans scored a big win in December when they inserted a provision into the defense spending bill to repeal President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for military personnel.
Biden meekly waved the white flag, signing the provision into law rather than fighting for one of his signature causes.
Now, it seems the architect of that disastrous policy is heading for the exits.
According to the Gateway Pundit, Dr. Terry Adirim will step down as executive director of the electronic health records modernization program inside the Department of Veterans Affairs on Feb. 25 in order to “pursue other opportunities” outside the department.

Adirim took that job in December 2021. Prior to that, conservative investigative journalist Jordan Schachtel noted, Biden appointed Adirim as acting assistant secretary of defense for health affairs.
In that capacity, Schachtel noted, she had signed an order requiring all troops to get the COVID vaccine.
Adirim, Schachtel added, “attempted to justify mandating EUA [Emergency Use Authorization] shots as if they were FDA approved, which was not the case at the time, and remains the same today.”
“The mandate led to countless vaccine injuries, the worst recruiting crisis since the formation of the all-volunteer military, and thousands of service members discharged for refusing to take the mRNA experimental gene serum,” he added.

Gateway Pundit noted that Schachtel’s publication has described Adirim as a “devoted Democrat political activist” who, as a medical doctor, also advocates for “gender-affirming prescriptions” for allegedly transgender children.
Adirim “has yet to fully explain why she signed off on the Pentagon mandate while displaying her medical credentials, without having the authority to sanction the mandate,” the website added.
