The Biden administration’s alleged luggage thief may be a serial bag man.

The Post Millennial reported on Friday that Sam Brinton, deputy assistant secretary over a nuclear waste program within the Energy Department, has been accused a second time of stealing a woman’s suitcase at an airport.

This time it was in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas authorities issued a felony warrant for Brinton’s arrest after a complaint that he swiped a suitcase valued between $1,200 and $5,000.

Before the luggage thefts, Brinton was best known for being a “non-binary drag queen” and self-proclaimed “kink activist,” specializing in dog fetishes. He once claimed he was the “first gender fluid person in federal government leadership,” as The Free Press reported in February.

An online profile of Brinton claims he has been “active in the kink world since 2013,” hosting “monthly kink parties in their (sic) dungeon in Washington” and having “spanked over 2,000 cute butts.”

As The Free Press reported last week, Brinton reportedly stole a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the luggage claim section of the Minneapolis airport in September.

Police learned that Brinton took the bag on at least two other trips, one of which was roughly three weeks after the alleged theft.

Newsweek noted that after that incident, a group of 16 Republican lawmakers fired off a letter to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm demanding that Brinton resign.

“It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land,” the letter stated.

“Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials.”
