TAMPA, Fla.- The explosion on Tuesday in Beirut, sent shockwaves across the city, causing widespread damage. At least 135 are dead and thousands injured. Officials said they expect the death toll to rise further as emergency workers dig through the rubble to search for survivors and recover those that are lost.
“No words can describe the horror of the disaster that has hit Beirut last night, turning it to a disaster-stricken city,” Lebanese President Michel Aoun said on Wednesday.
The video captured below shows the impact of the explosion from the ground level. A lady was taking wedding pictures and video, when the gas explosion from the stockpile of ammonium nitrate at the Port in Beirut.
