Beef Producers And Ranchers On Monday Got A Glimpse Of The Bizarro World Behind Joe Biden

Ronald Reagan was an actual actor who became president. Donald Trump was a veteran television show host and longtime media figure before entering the White House.

They understood television’s ability to sell images and the value of optics.

But what goes on in the Biden White House is simply bizarre.

On Monday, the Washington, D.C., area was pummeled by a winter snowstorm – one severe enough that President Joe Biden looked at the risk of tumbling down the stairs of Air Force One, instead of falling up, as he did three times last March.

Yet when Biden took his seat on Monday to talk supply chain issues with meat producers, his staff used a digitally produced image of snow falling as the background behind Biden – when, it seemed, there was actual snow falling outside the White House.

As The Free Press reported in October, Biden has built a studio in the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which sits next to the White House.

The background behind Biden’s desk can change. The left-wing “fact-checkers” have argued long and hard that it’s not a fake White House. It is, in fact, just a studio that simulates the Oval Office. And the media is told that events are held in the digitally enhanced auditorium, and not the actual White House.

Which, in the liberal mind, makes it all seem normal.

Yet no one ever seems to be able to explain why this was necessary when the real Oval Office or other space is available any time Biden wants it.

The best explanation, as The Washington Times noted last fall, is that Biden needs the extra space for video conferences. But again, there is no explanation why the Oval Office could not be outfitted to handle that.

Breitbart News noted on Monday that on occasion, the images behind Biden’s studio have at times been bizarre, including windmills or shipping containers – which, of course, are routinely seen on the grounds of the White House.

On Monday, Biden’s phony backdrop drew the attention of conservatives, as the conservative website Twitchy.com reported.

“Has there been an explanation for why they built a fake White House set for Biden across the street from the real White House? The other day there were shipping containers outside the window. Today it’s a winter wonderland. Just bizarre and phony,” Tim Murtaugh, Trump’s former communications director, tweeted.

“If this meeting were held in the Cabinet Room off the Oval Office, you would not need a fake screen to simulate the real snow across the street from Biden’s White House set,” Chad Gilmartin, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s spokesman, added.

In response to Murtaugh, Stephen Miller, another former Trump adviser, offered a theory. He tweeted, “The reason Biden uses this bizarre virtual set for televised meetings—and not an actual room like East Room, Cabinet, Oval, Roosevelt, Sit Room, etc.—is because it allows him to read a script directly from a face-on monitor (& w/out teleprompter glass that can be seen on camera).”

And yet as much as the staff scripts things for him, he still manages to screw it up beyond belief.
