BARTOW, Fla. – The Bartow City Commission will host a public workshop to discuss the addition of fluoride to the city’s water supply. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, February 18th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartow Civic Center.

The workshop aims to provide residents with information and gather feedback on the controversial issue of water fluoridation.

The workshop will feature presentations from experts on both sides of the issue, including:

  • Dr. Joseph Lapado: Florida Surgeon General
  • Dr. Johnny Johnson: President of the American Fluoridation Society

Following the presentations, there will be a question-and-answer session and an opportunity for public comment.
