TAMPA, Fla.- The Back the Blue mural that was painted Sunday evening, on Madison Street Downtown Tampa, was defaced with paint and tar overnight.
According to @roykuntz on twitter, it is unknown who defaced the mural.

Organizers of this mural were in the process of getting an approved permit to paint the mural, but the City had not yet approved the permit prior to the mural being painted outside of police headquarters.
