The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) announced the arrest of Greyton Rodriguez Rocha, 32, an illegal alien from Nicaragua, on charges of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and illegal use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. During the execution of a federal search warrant at Rocha’s residence, agents also rescued a young child who was living in the home.

The arrest is part of FDLE’s ongoing statewide initiatives to combat crimes targeting children and its collaborative efforts with federal, state, and local law enforcement to address illegal immigration and its associated criminal activities.

The investigation began last week after FDLE agents received a request from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Tallahassee to assist in executing a federal search warrant at Rocha’s residence. On February 12, FDLE agents, alongside ICE HSI and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, served the warrant and recovered multiple electronic devices from Rocha’s possession. Forensic examinations of the devices are currently underway.

During the operation, agents also discovered and rescued a young child living in the residence. The child’s relationship to Rocha has not been disclosed.

Rocha was arrested without incident and transported to the Jefferson County Jail. He faces charges of possession of child sexual abuse material and illegal use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues, with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Office of the State Attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit evaluating the case.

The investigation remains active, with FDLE’s Tallahassee Regional Operations Center and ICE HSI Tallahassee leading the efforts. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office also provided critical support during the operation.
