Auburndale police are investigating a counterfeit money incident that occurred at a local convenience store.

On August 13th, 2024, at approximately 9:30 PM, a counterfeit $100 bill was used to purchase lottery tickets at the Beverage Castle located at 605 Charlotte Rd., Auburndale, FL.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark gray compact 4-door Honda.

One suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with dark facial hair, prescription glasses, and tattoos on both arms and hands. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue shorts.

The driver is described as a white female with dark hair, sunglasses on her head, and smoking a cigarette. She was last seen wearing a black tank top. The front passenger’s description is unknown.
