POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A suspicious vehicle report led to the arrest of a 45-year-old Auburndale man on Sunday night, March 30th, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).
Deputies responded to the area of Eagle Lake Loop Road and Lake McLeod Drive in Eagle Lake at approximately 10 p.m. after a caller reported an unoccupied vehicle parked in a dark location near their neighbor’s residence.
A deputy investigating the scene located the vehicle’s owner, identified as Brandon Waters, fishing on private property.

It was discovered that Waters had an active warrant for Violation of Probation. The original charges for the warrant included:
- Contracting without a License
- Grand Theft
- Possessions of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Brandon Waters was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the Polk County Jail.
His 2004 Volvo XC70, which was found to be unregistered, was also towed.
