TAMPA, Fla. – The rioting that took place on Fowler Ave resulted in looting and burnt buildings. Champs sports being looted then turned into a fully involved structure fire and complete loss, which occurred the night of May 31st, 2020.
July 10, 2020, the ATF confirms that an arrest in connection with the Champs Sports fire has been made. “It is a fluid investigation,” said Mary Harmon, a spokeswoman with ATF in Tampa Fl.

There were thousands of dollars in damage.

The name of the person arrested has not yet been released, however, we do know that the arrest took place in NYC.
