Arrest Made In Tarpon Springs Shooting: Teen Suspect Charged With First-Degree Murder

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – The Tarpon Springs Police Department has announced the arrest of a 15-year-old male in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred Monday evening on the 1300 block of Starlight Cove.

The juvenile suspect, identified as Jerimiah Ashley, was taken into custody at approximately 6:45 PM and charged with first-degree murder.

The victim in the shooting has been identified as 36-year-old Candice Stinson.

The investigation remains active, and detectives are urging anyone with further information about the shooting to contact Detective Melton at 727-938-2849.
