Arrest Made In Murder Of Woman And Infant In Florida

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Andre Lanns, 27, is facing two counts of first-degree murder following the discovery of his wife and infant son shot to death inside their Deerfield Beach home.

Broward County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 4000 block of Eastridge Drive around 5:45 a.m. on Thursday.

Upon arrival, they found Lanns in the street suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Inside a nearby residence, deputies discovered the bodies of Marrina Guadagnino and her infant son, Andre Lanns III, both victims of gunshot wounds. Based on evidence gathered at the scene and through their investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Lanns in connection with the double homicide.

Lanns remains hospitalized under guard and will be formally arrested upon his release.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
