Arrest Made In Fatal St. Petersburg Racing Crash, Second Suspect Sought

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Charles Williams IV has been arrested and charged with Vehicular Homicide in the death of Corey Koeppen in a crash that happened on September 11.

Police say Williams was allegedly racing a black SUV in a designated bus lane when his Infinity Q6 collided with Koeppen’s Ford Ranger.

Koeppen was tragically ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Williams sustained serious injuries but was later released from the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the black SUV involved in the incident.
