RIVERVIEW, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal road rage incident that occurred in Riverview on Sunday, October 27th, 2024.
26-year-old Kentavious Gholston has been identified as the shooter and faces charges of 2nd-degree murder with a firearm, domestic violence by strangulation, and aggravated assault with a firearm.

“A Sunday afternoon turned into a nightmare that cost a life, leaving a family shattered by this senseless violence,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This reckless act shows a complete disregard for human life. Violence is never the answer, and this tragedy could have been entirely avoided.”
The investigation is ongoing, and Gholston’s booking photo will be posted when available.
