CITRUS COUNTY, FL. – Deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect that targeted the BBVA in Inverness Monday.
On Monday around 10:00 am, a white or light-skinned black male approximately 5-5″ to 5’10” tall wearing a brown wig, grey sweater, and oversized black sunglasses entered the BBVA bank located at 2875 E Gulf to Lake Hwy, Inverness.
The subject demanded cash from the teller and showed a silver revolver with a black handle before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.
Deputies say the suspect was last seen getting in a dark-colored sedan eastbound on E Thomas St, Inverness.
