An Arizona man has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy, announced United States Attorney Prim F. Escalona and Special Agent in Charge Carlton L. Peeples of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Birmingham Division.
United States District Judge Liles C. Burke sentenced Jeremiah Warren, 42, of Vail, Arizona, to 180 months (15 years) in prison. Warren pleaded guilty on October 4, 2023, to Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or More of Methamphetamine.

The plea agreement revealed that Warren supplied Isaiah Oneal Rice, who resided in Athens, Alabama, with controlled substances for several years.
Warren shipped drugs, including crystal methamphetamine, to Rice through the U.S. mail. From February to May 2022, Warren mailed over 34 pounds of packages containing controlled substances into the Northern District of Alabama.
Isaiah Oneal Rice was also prosecuted in connection with the conspiracy. He was sentenced to 176 months in prison on January 10, 2024.

Rice pleaded guilty on July 27, 2022, to multiple charges, including Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or More of Methamphetamine, two counts of Unlawful Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or More of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
The FBI’s North Alabama Safe Streets Task Force conducted the investigation. The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office and Athens Police Department provided significant assistance. Assistant United States Attorney John M. Hundscheid prosecuted the cases.
