A lucky Arizona resident has claimed the latest Mega Millions jackpot, worth a staggering $112 million ($49.95 million cash). The winning ticket, sold in Arizona, matched all six numbers drawn on Friday, January 17, 2025: 8, 10, 37, 54, 69, and the Mega Ball 22.
This marks Arizona’s third Mega Millions jackpot win since joining the game in 2010. Previous wins include a $414 million prize in 2020 and a $108 million prize in 2021.

January has historically been a lucky month for Mega Millions players. Since the game’s inception in 2002, at least one jackpot has been won in 19 of the 23 possible January months.
In the January 17 drawing, over 450,000 winning tickets were sold across all prize tiers, including two $1 million second-tier prizes sold in Florida and Michigan.
The next jackpot drawing is Friday, February 21, and is worth an estimated $165 million.
