CLEARWATER, Fla. – An update to this story is available here. Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel responded to a shooting shortly after 6 pm on Monday in the parking lot of Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 2551 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd.
A verbal confrontation inside the store carried into the parking lot, where it became physical. One man then shot the other man.
The subject who was shot was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert with injuries not thought to be life-threatening. The other subject is being questioned at this time.

There is no threat to the public, and the weapon used was recovered at the scene.
