APOLLO BEACH, Fla. – A house in the Waterset community of Apollo Beach was damaged by fire Monday afternoon.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the scene on Del Coronado Drive around 2:02 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting the fire. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the residence.

Crews quickly deployed hose lines and entered the structure, containing the fire to the garage area. All occupants of the home had safely evacuated prior to the arrival of firefighters.
There were no injuries to residents or first responders. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The American Red Cross has been contacted to provide assistance to the displaced residents.
